About WhatCanHelp
WhatCanHelp is a free discovery tool for assistive technology. We pull products from across the AT industry, organize them by what they help with, and translate vendor specs into plain English.
Built for clinicians, AT counselors, educators, and the families and self-advocates they work with. No account needed. Products also link to your state's AT Act lending program, so you can often borrow and try a device before anyone buys it, and a state-by-state funding directory maps the official programs that can help pay for equipment. New to a category? Step-by-step guides walk the whole path — from first research through borrowing, matching, and funding.
Affiliate links and vendor neutrality
Some Amazon links carry affiliate tags, marked with an aff badge. Vendor "Visit" links go direct to the manufacturer with no tracking on our end. Affiliate relationships never influence rankings, recommendations, or which products appear in your results — the matching engine doesn't know which links earn commission, and no vendor pays for inclusion or placement.
For clinicians: this is the kind of dual-relationship the ASHA Code of Ethics (Principle III, Rule B) and the RESNA Code of Ethics (Principle 3) ask you to disclose. PDF reports are fully affiliate-free — they cite only the canonical WhatCanHelp URL — so a printed report is safe to share in a funding packet without a disclosure footnote.
Manufacturers: product information is sourced from publicly available vendor pages. For corrections, updates, or removal, email hello@whatcanhelp.com.
