Issist ReadDesk-Lite

$895.00

The ReadDesk-Lite is a small camera that you connect to a Windows computer by USB. It captures a printed page, such as a book, newspaper, label, or bill, then shows it enlarged on screen and reads it aloud in a natural-sounding voice. You can change the font, text color, and voice settings, and you can save scanned text as a PDF or MP3 file to use again later. It's a good fit if you have trouble reading standard print and want one tool that both magnifies and speaks. It weighs about 1.5 pounds, so you can move it around, but it needs a computer to work. The listed compatibility is older Windows versions (XP through 8), so check that it will run on your computer before you buy.
