Mountain Precision Manufacturing NuVois I Electronic Larynx
$492.42
The NuVois I is a handheld electronic larynx, a device that produces a speaking voice for someone who can't make one naturally, such as after the voice box has been removed. You control pitch and volume by hand, so you can shape how the voice sounds as you talk. It weighs just 4.5 oz with batteries and has a black polycarbonate case. The kit comes ready to use, with two rechargeable 9V NiMH batteries, a charger, an oral adapter, and tubes. It uses analog frequency, so expect a more robotic tone than natural speech.

Mountain Precision Manufacturing NuVois III Digital Speech Aid
$530.00
The NuVois III is a handheld electrolarynx, a device that makes a voice for people who can't produce one with their vocal cords. It has volume and pitch buttons, so the sound can rise and fall for emphasis instead of staying flat. Two on/off buttons can each be set to their own volume, so you can use a quieter setting for close conversation and a louder one in a noisy room. At 4.5 oz with batteries, it is easy to carry. The kit includes two rechargeable 9V NiMH batteries, a charger, an oral adapter with tubes, and a use and care guide. Learning to place it well and shape speech with it usually goes better with speech therapy support.
