Setup with instructions The button is simple hardware with a battery included, but it only works once it is paired with a compatible receiver. It also needs to be mounted and tested for range. A family member can do all of this with the written instructions, so guided setup fits better than self-serve. It does not need a professional.

Accessory or replacement part Made to go with another product — check it fits what you have.

What it is

Summary

AI-generated from vendor-published content · October 1, 2026

This is a wireless doorbell button for the CentralAlert system. When a visitor presses it, it sends a signal to a compatible receiver, which can alert someone who might not hear a regular chime. It is weather resistant, so it can be mounted by an exterior door. It works up to about 200 feet away, and the system can handle up to four of these buttons, such as a front door and a back door. This is only the button. It does nothing until it is paired with a CA360 or CA-RX receiver.
