Milestone Ace 112 Digital Recorder
$269.00
The Milestone Ace 112 is a pocket-sized voice recorder with six large, tactile buttons, so you can find and press the right one by feel. It records through its built-in microphone or an external mic plugged into the 3.5mm jack, and it plays back through a loudspeaker or headphones. It holds up to 420 hours of recordings and has a talking clock, 16 volume levels, and a keyboard lock to prevent accidental presses. It's a good fit for someone who wants to capture shopping lists, phone numbers, reminders, or interviews without using a screen. You can record a new message between two existing ones, and a USB connection lets you back files up to a computer.

Milestone 312 ACE Book Reader for the Blind
$495.00
The Milestone 312 ACE is a pocket-sized, credit-card-size digital player that reads books and plays audio for someone who is blind or has low vision. It plays audiobooks from sources like the National Library Service, Audible, and Bookshare, and it can read text and Word (.doc) files aloud with built-in text-to-speech voices from Acapela. It also plays music, records voice notes with its built-in microphone or an external one, and works as a clock and alarm. Playback speed is adjustable, and you can listen through the built-in speaker or headphones. It supports many common formats, including MP3, DAISY 2.02 and 3.0, and TXT, so most files play without conversion.
