    Medallion Series Sound Monitor (SM5-MC)

    Silent Call Communications

    $103.75

The Medallion Series Sound Monitor listens for noise in a room and sends a signal to a Medallion Series Mini Receiver when it hears one, so someone who can't hear a baby's cry, a buzzer, or a timer still gets alerted. You can leave it listening for any loud sound, or set it to react only to a baby's cry, a telephone, or a doorbell. A sensitivity switch changes how loud a sound must be to trigger it, and a delay circuit ignores very brief noises like a slamming car door. It runs on two AA batteries (included), so you can move it from room to room. This is only the sending half of the system: it does nothing for you until it is paired with a compatible Medallion receiver.

    Signature Series Kit (SS/VAKit-2)

    Silent Call Communications

    $322.54

This kit gives you a bedside receiver that turns household sounds into flashing lights and bed shaking. When a signal comes in, the receiver sets off a strobe light and a bed vibrator. It also lights one of six colored icons to show what happened, such as a phone call, doorbell, or fire alarm. It plugs into a standard 110-volt outlet, has a built-in alarm clock, and comes with a backup battery pack. The receiver needs Signature Series 418MHz transmitters to detect events like doorbells or smoke alarms. Those are sold separately, apart from the telephone connection in the box. It can also supervise up to three Signature Series smoke detectors with transmitters.

  • Silent Call Legacy Series Lamp Lighter Kit 2 LLK-2

    Silent Call Communications

    $141.58

This kit alerts you to incoming phone calls by flashing a table lamp and shaking the bed, so you don't have to hear a ring. A small transmitter plugs into a standard analog phone jack and sends a wireless signal to the Lamp Lighter, so the lamp doesn't need to be near a phone outlet. It also works for TTY, VCO, and videophone calls. A built-in backup battery keeps the alerts going during a power failure. It's a good fit for someone who is deaf or hard of hearing and wants phone calls to show up in the bedroom or living room. The kit comes with the Lamp Lighter signaler, the telephone transmitter, a bed shaker, and a backup battery.
