Technology
Also known as: Electronic Publication, ePub, EPUB 3
EPUB (Electronic Publication) is an open e-book file format widely used for accessible digital reading materials. Because text reflows to fit the screen and can be resized, EPUB files work well with screen readers, text-to-speech tools, and display adjustments that benefit people with vision impairments, dyslexia, or other print disabilities. The EPUB 3 standard also supports synchronized audio and text highlighting, making it a common format for accessible books from libraries and publishers.
