DSP stands for Digital Signal Processor, a specialized chip or software algorithm that manipulates audio or other signals in real time. In AT, DSPs are found inside hearing aids, cochlear implant processors, and FM/Bluetooth hearing systems, where they handle tasks like noise reduction, feedback cancellation, and frequency shaping.
