Also known as: American Printing House for the Blind, American Printing House
APH stands for the American Printing House for the Blind, a federally supported nonprofit that develops and distributes educational materials, tools, and technology for people who are blind or have low vision. It produces a wide range of AT products including braille displays, tactile graphics, literacy materials, and accessible software. For families and professionals, APH is also significant because it administers the Federal Quota program, which allocates free educational materials to eligible blind and visually impaired students through their state schools.
